Hacer investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica no solo trata de plantear hip\u00f3tesis, dise\u00f1ar experimentos y encontrar respuestas o soluciones a un problema, los investigadores deben conseguir fondos, registrar su avance, ser mentores, encontrar fuentes de informaci\u00f3n confiable y muchas otras cosas t\u00e9cnicas que son necesarias para seguir con su carrera.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El Tec de Monterrey desarroll\u00f3 distintas plataformas para facilitarle la vida a los investigadores y asistirlos en estas actividades que consumen tiempo y, a veces, son confusas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cQueremos ser su mejor aliado\u201d, dijo Jos\u00e9 Vladimir Burgos<\/strong>, director Nacional de Biblioteca del Tec de Monterrey, durante su presentaci\u00f3n en el workshop<\/em> para conocer las plataformas que tiene la instituci\u00f3n, impartido por distintos expertos en estas herramientas en el Tec Science Summit 2023<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plataformas del Tec de Monterrey para investigadores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pivot: b\u00fasqueda de convocatorias para conseguir fondos<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Pivot es una plataforma para que los investigadores del Tec de Monterrey puedan encontrar oportunidades de financiamiento para su investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica, as\u00ed como encontrar colaboradores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta re\u00fane alrededor de 30,000 oportunidades de obtenci\u00f3n de fondos que se actualizan todos los d\u00edas e incluyen oportunidades internas del Tec, oportunidades externas, que pueden venir de instituciones p\u00fablicas y empresas privadas de M\u00e9xico o el extranjero.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SIMPLE: gesti\u00f3n de proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

SIMPLE es una plataforma que pueden utilizar los investigadores, estudiantes de doctorado, maestr\u00eda y posdoctorado para gestionar sus proyectos. Esta plataforma les permite organizar las distintas etapas de su investigaci\u00f3n, como la solicitud de financiamiento, la organizaci\u00f3n y repartici\u00f3n de los fondos obtenidos, as\u00ed como registrar fechas de entrega de reportes o documentos administrativos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En la herramienta, tanto los investigadores como sus estudiantes, pueden registrar estos proyectos bajo un perfil espec\u00edfico y rastrear c\u00f3mo van progresando. Si el investigador tiene varios fondos que vienen de distintas partes para diferentes proyectos, puede organizarlos ah\u00ed para no perder la pista de documentos que se tengan que entregar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CRISTEC: el control de las actividades de investigaci\u00f3n <\/h4>\n\n\n\n

En CRISTEC los investigadores pueden registrar sus distintas actividades de investigaci\u00f3n, para que otros cient\u00edficos, evaluadores y miembros del Tec puedan ver su progreso.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cuenta con distintas pesta\u00f1as, en una se puede registrar la atracci\u00f3n de fondos, con propuestas aceptadas, atracci\u00f3n de talento, con los alumnos que lideran, su progreso dentro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) y la calculadora para conocer su Reconocimiento a la Producci\u00f3n Cient\u00edfico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scopus y WOS: bases de datos de citas de publicaciones cient\u00edficas<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Scopus<\/a> es una base de datos que recopila informaci\u00f3n bibliogr\u00e1fica de citas y res\u00famenes de art\u00edculos de revistas cient\u00edficas. Es la plataforma principal que utiliza el Tec de Monterrey para registrar su investigaci\u00f3n publicada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Web of Science<\/a>, o WOS, es una plataforma que permite el acceso a distintas bases de datos de citas de revistas cient\u00edficas, art\u00edculos de congresos y otros documentos citables de distintas disciplinas acad\u00e9micas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En general, los \u00edndices o listas de citas permiten a los cient\u00edficos vincularse con personas que hagan investigaci\u00f3n similar a la suya, encontrar referencias bibliogr\u00e1ficas, as\u00ed como detectar qu\u00e9 tanto se han citado sus propios art\u00edculos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scival e Incites: an\u00e1lisis de indicadores que miden el impacto de la investigaci\u00f3n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Tanto Scival, como Incites, son herramientas que le permiten a los investigadores y evaluadores analizar el impacto de la investigaci\u00f3n realizada a partir de indicadores cienciom\u00e9tricos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este an\u00e1lisis puede realizarse a nivel de un solo investigador, un grupo de investigadores, una instituci\u00f3n o un pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

RITEC: repositorio de productos cient\u00edficos del Tec de Monterrey<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

RITEC<\/a> es una plataforma en la cual los investigadores pueden registrar sus art\u00edculos cient\u00edficos, art\u00edculos de congresos o cap\u00edtulos de libros que hayan producido como parte de su investigaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Estos pueden ser depositados en calidad de preprint, postprint o versi\u00f3n del editor. Esta plataforma permite a la comunidad de investigaci\u00f3n dentro del Tec encontrar los productos de otros investigadores y registrar los suyos. Adem\u00e1s, est\u00e1 ligada a Google Acad\u00e9mico<\/a> y otras plataformas de b\u00fasqueda muy utilizadas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biblioteca: fuente inagotable de informaci\u00f3n<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Biblioteca es el sistema de bibliotecas del Tec de Monterrey que cuenta con 46 recintos en distintas sedes y se re\u00fane en una plataforma digital. En ellas pueden encontrarse art\u00edculos, patentes, cap\u00edtulos de libros o libros completos, as\u00ed como registrarse los productos generados por los investigadores.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Adem\u00e1s, si hay un art\u00edculo, patente, cap\u00edtulo de libro o libro con la que no cuente la Biblioteca, el investigador, alumno o miembro de la comunidad del Tec solo tiene que enviar un correo solicitando el archivo y en menos de 24 horas lo reciben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
