{"id":157074,"date":"2023-06-02T19:36:23","date_gmt":"2023-06-02T19:36:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/?p=157074"},"modified":"2023-06-26T07:57:53","modified_gmt":"2023-06-26T07:57:53","slug":"the-impact-ranking-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/humano-social\/the-impact-ranking-2023\/","title":{"rendered":"Tec de Monterrey: entre las 100 universidades con m\u00e1s impacto ambiental y social"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El <strong>Tec de Monterrey<\/strong> se convirti\u00f3 en una de las 100 universidades con mayor impacto social y en el medioambiente de acuerdo con <a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeshighereducation.com\/impactrankings\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">THE Impact Ranking 2023<\/a>, el cual eval\u00faa los avances de las universidades en relaci\u00f3n con los <strong>Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible de la Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas (ONU)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guillermo Torre<\/strong>, vicepresidente de Investigaci\u00f3n del Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey y rector de <a href=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/tag\/tecsalud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">TecSalud<\/a>, destac\u00f3 que \u201clos resultados son muestra de la apuesta que el Instituto ha hecho hacia la investigaci\u00f3n como una fortaleza que ayude a resolver los grandes retos de la humanidad\u00bb.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agreg\u00f3 que \u00abla ciencia y la tecnolog\u00eda tienen que ser funcionales, deben ayudar a buscar soluciones viables, ya que estas son la base para responder y enfrentar a los grandes problemas del mundo, desde temas sociales, econ\u00f3micos y ambientales, as\u00ed como para mejorar la calidad de vida. Para nosotros el tema medioambiental representa uno de los compromisos m\u00e1s importantes de la Instituci\u00f3n para alcanzar un futuro sustentable\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>THE Impact Ranking 2023<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Entre un total de 1,625 universidades, el Tec alcanz\u00f3 un lugar dentro de las 100 primeras por sus avances en objetivos como energ\u00eda asequible y no contaminante, fin de la pobreza, agua limpia y saneamiento, y alianzas para lograr Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los objetivos fueron propuestos por la ONU con el prop\u00f3sito de cumplir la agenda para el Desarrollo Sostenible hacia 2030, mismos que consisten en 17 criterios, entre ellos: reducci\u00f3n de desigualdades, acci\u00f3n por el clima, vida submarina, educaci\u00f3n de calidad, entre otros.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con base a estos criterios, THE Impact Ranking utiliza una metodolog\u00eda que eval\u00faa <strong>cuatro \u00e1reas en las universidades<\/strong>: las investigaciones que realizan las universidades en dichos temas; la forma en que se administran los propios recursos; el alcance que tienen en beneficio de comunidades tanto locales como internacionales; y la ense\u00f1anza de estos objetivos en el alumnado. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con respecto al ranking realizado el a\u00f1o pasado, el Tec de Monterrey tuvo una notable mejora en tres objetivos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>primero<\/strong>, en energ\u00eda asequible y no contaminante, donde subi\u00f3 57 posiciones hasta alcanzar la n\u00famero 10. El <strong>segundo<\/strong>, con respecto a la producci\u00f3n y consumo responsables, en el cual subi\u00f3 37 posiciones. En 2020 presentamos nuestro <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/humano-social\/reporte-de-iniciativas-de-desarrollo-sostenible\/\"   title=\"La investigaci\u00f3n del Tec ayuda al desarrollo sostenible de personas y comunidades\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"102\">Reporte de Iniciativas de Desarrollo Sostenible<\/a>. Tres a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, hemos mapeado m\u00e1s de 820 iniciativas que impactan de manera directa en los 17 ODS. En total, el Tec ha abonado a m\u00e1s de 134 metas espec\u00edficas de la agenda 2030.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Times Higher Education (THE) es una organizaci\u00f3n que impulsa a universidades de 93 pa\u00edses a alcanzar la excelencia a trav\u00e9s de estad\u00edsticas y rankings con los que eval\u00faan a dichas instituciones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El Times Higher
