{"id":165196,"date":"2024-06-12T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2024-06-12T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/?p=165196"},"modified":"2025-06-03T22:48:49","modified_gmt":"2025-06-04T04:48:49","slug":"the-impact-rankings-2024","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/humano-social\/the-impact-rankings-2024\/","title":{"rendered":"Tec de Monterrey sube 25 puestos en los THE Impact Rankings 2024"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>El Tecnol\u00f3gico de Monterrey avanz\u00f3<strong> 25 posiciones <\/strong>en el listado general de los <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/tec.rs\/THEImpactRankings2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">THE Impact Rankings 2024<\/a><\/strong> para colocarse<strong> <\/strong>dentro del<strong> Top 70 global de universidades<\/strong> con mayores avances en relaci\u00f3n con los <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/es\/objetivos-de-desarrollo-sostenible\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible (ODS)<\/a> establecidos por la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Organizaci\u00f3n de las Naciones Unidas (ONU)<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Esta clasificaci\u00f3n internacional publicada por<a href=\"https:\/\/www.timeshighereducation.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> Times Higher Education (THE)<\/a> mide el <strong>impacto positivo de las universidades<\/strong> en el mundo con un enfoque en los 17 ODS de la Agenda 2030 de la ONU.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cLograr esta posici\u00f3n en uno de los rankings de mayor prestigio a nivel mundial nos llena de entusiasmo, ya que <strong>visibiliza el trabajo de la Comunidad Tec<\/strong>, y nos inspira a seguir detonando oportunidades de vinculaci\u00f3n que promuevan la <strong>transformaci\u00f3n social<\/strong> y contribuyan al <strong>desarrollo sostenible de nuestro pa\u00eds<\/strong>\u201d, dijo <strong>In\u00e9s S\u00e1enz<\/strong>, vicepresidenta de Inclusi\u00f3n, Impacto Social y Sostenibilidad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ODS fueron estipulados por la ONU en 2015, como una estrategia hacia un futuro m\u00e1s sostenible y resolver <strong>desaf\u00edos globales<\/strong> en diversas \u00e1reas como la pobreza, la educaci\u00f3n, la igualdad, el hambre y la vida en el planeta, entre otras.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"El potencial de los hongos para limpiar el agua\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OKfkhnRUGxc?start=13&#038;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>THE Impact Rankings 2024: el Tec en el Top 70 global de universidades<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En esta edici\u00f3n, <strong>el Tec ocupa el lugar 67<\/strong> de la clasificaci\u00f3n general y obtuvo un<strong> puntaje de 90.7 <\/strong>sobre 100, m\u00e1s de un punto de diferencia en comparaci\u00f3n con el listado de 2023, donde fue calificado con 89 puntos y se ubic\u00f3 en la posici\u00f3n 92 a nivel mundial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para poder aparecer en el listado general del ranking, las instituciones participantes deben ser <strong>calificadas en \u2212al menos\u2212 cuatro ODS<\/strong>, de manera obligatoria en el n\u00famero 17 (Alianzas para lograr los objetivos), m\u00e1s otros tres de libre elecci\u00f3n, es decir, no todas las universidades son evaluadas en los 17 ODS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La convocatoria de <strong>THE Impact Rankings 2024<\/strong> cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n de 2,152 universidades de 125 pa\u00edses o regiones, un incremento del <strong>26% con respecto al a\u00f1o anterior<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image aligncenter size-full\"><picture>\r\n                <source srcset=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/06\/the-impact-ranking-2024-1.webp\" type=\"image\/webp\">\r\n                <img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/06\/the-impact-ranking-2024-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-165203\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/06\/the-impact-ranking-2024-1.jpg 750w, https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/8\/2024\/06\/the-impact-ranking-2024-1-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/>\r\n            <\/picture><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">El Tec cuenta con iniciativas orientadas a mejorar el futuro de la vida en el planeta, como Ruta Azul, el Plan de Sostenibilidad y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico 2025. (Foto: Cortes\u00eda Tec de Monterrey)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Los ODS mejor rankeados del Tec<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Para esta edici\u00f3n, <strong>la instituci\u00f3n logr\u00f3 mejorar su posici\u00f3n<\/strong> en seis de los ODS en los que participa y mejor\u00f3 su puntuaci\u00f3n en la mayor\u00eda de los ODS evaluados.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ODS en los que el Tec es n\u00famero 1 en Am\u00e9rica Latina son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ODS 1 \u2013 Fin de la pobreza (lugar #9 mundial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 17 \u2013 Alianzas para lograr los objetivos (lugar #18 mundial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 6 \u2013 Agua limpia y saneamiento (lugar #26 mundial)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 11 \u2013 Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles (lugar #90 mundial)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ODS del Tec rankeados en el Top 100 mundial son:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ODS 1 &#8211; Fin de la pobreza, en el lugar 9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 17 &#8211; Alianzas para lograr los objetivos, en el lugar 18.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 6 &#8211; Agua limpia y saneamiento, en el lugar 26.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 13 \u2013 Acci\u00f3n clim\u00e1tica, en el lugar 46.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 15 \u2013 Vida de ecosistemas terrestres, en el lugar 80.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 7 \u2013 Energ\u00eda asequible y no contaminante, en la posici\u00f3n 89.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 11 \u2013 Ciudades y comunidades sostenibles, en el lugar 90.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ODS 2 \u2013 Hambre cero, en el lugar 97.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cCon <strong><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/humano-social\/ruta-azul-tec-de-monterrey\/\"   title=\"Ruta Azul: sostenibilidad desde las universidades\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"76\">Ruta Azul<\/a><\/strong>, nuestro <strong>Plan de Sostenibilidad y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico al 2025<\/strong>, hemos trazado un camino para lograr un futuro sostenible y convertirnos en una instituci\u00f3n modelo de sostenibilidad al adoptar una <strong>cultura proactiva ante la emergencia clim\u00e1tica<\/strong>, que se refleja en la generaci\u00f3n de ideas y tecnolog\u00edas, en acciones de gran impacto y en la formaci\u00f3n de l\u00edderes comprometidos en <strong>forjar un futuro sostenible<\/strong>. El gran resultado obtenido en los<strong> THE Impact Rankings 2024<\/strong> es reflejo del esfuerzo realizado para formar y trascender a trav\u00e9s de la b\u00fasqueda de <strong>soluciones innovadoras <\/strong>que contribuyan al desarrollo econ\u00f3mico, social y ambiental de nuestro pa\u00eds\u201d, coment\u00f3 <strong><a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"https:\/\/tecscience.tec.mx\/es\/humano-social\/feniosky-pena-mora-primer-presidente-latino-de-la-sociedad-estadounidense-de-ingenieros-civiles-asce\/\"   title=\"Feniosky Pe\u00f1a-Mora, Investigaci\u00f3n del Tec. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada ODS es clasificado de manera individual con base en los indicadore, adem\u00e1s, la ponderaci\u00f3n de los indicadores y sus m\u00e9tricas var\u00edan entre cada ODS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La puntuaci\u00f3n total de una instituci\u00f3n en un a\u00f1o se calcula combinando la puntuaci\u00f3n obtenida en el ODS 17 con sus tres puntuaciones m\u00e1s altas de los ODS restantes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el resultado final de ese a\u00f1o, el ODS 17 tiene un valor del 22% y las otras tres evaluaciones m\u00e1s altas, un valor de 26% cada una.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los ODS con mejor puntuaci\u00f3n del Tec que fueron tomados en cuenta para la calificaci\u00f3n final fueron: <strong>ODS 17 (Alianzas para lograr los objetivos<\/strong>), con 95.9 puntos;<strong> ODS 1 (Fin de la pobreza)<\/strong>, con 86.5; <strong>ODS 6 (Agua limpia y saneamiento<\/strong>), con 83.3; y el ODS <strong>12 (Producci\u00f3n y consumo responsables)<\/strong>, con 80.3.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finalmente, la puntuaci\u00f3n general de la clasificaci\u00f3n se obtiene como una media de las puntuaciones totales de los dos \u00faltimos
