The 2023 edition of the Times Higher Education Latin America Universities Summit, one of the most important in higher education in the area, will be held at Tecnológico de Monterrey as part of the celebrations for its 80th anniversary.
Academic leaders, researchers, consultants, and representatives from the private sector will gather at this meeting to discuss regional university collaboration and the advancement of social progress in their respective nations.
The first in-person version after four years will take place on July 3rd and 4th at the Monterrey Campus.
The Times Higher Education Latin America University Rankings 2023 will also be revealed at the event.
The collaboration between Tec and Times Higher Education
Over 150 people from 10 Latin American nations, including Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico, and guests from the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands, will attend the Times Higher Education (THE) event.
National and international guests as Arturo Cherbowski, Executive Director of Santander Universidades; Victoria Galán Muros, Head of Research and Analysis at the International Institute for Higher Education; and Gabriela Gerón Pión, Director of Alliances, Innovation, and Communication at the University of Miami will be among the speakers at the event.
Additionally, the event will present the results of the Times Higher Education Latin America University Rankings 2023, which evaluate the performance of universities with a focus on research.
This ranking evaluates Latin American universities in areas such as Teaching, Research, Citations, International outlook, and Industry income.
This event is one of many gatherings held during the 80th anniversary of the founding of Tec de Monterrey, along with his international collaborations to contribute to Mexico’s educational, social, and environmental development and the world.
